SSRTSport Specific Resistance Training
We offer private or small group resistance training programs that consist of the use of body weight exercises, athletic strength cords, free weights and Olympic lifts based on the athletic endeavor of the client. We exercise strict focus on form and observe age-appropriate precautions.We also oversee entire teams (HS/Collegiate/Professional) in and off season training and conditioning protocols.
PASSPlyometric, Agility and Speed Skills
Plyometric and agility programs (often referred to as “jump training”) should be a cornerstone for the enhancement of athletic ability of any athlete. Often times we conduct this program in a group setting. Plyometrics focus on the muscles ability to shorten or load the muscle (eccentric contraction) for a fraction of a second (0.1- 0.2 seconds) before firing (concentric contraction). This process over time gives the athlete the ability be quicker and more powerful. It improves speed, quickness and power coupled with a strong strength base.
CNPCompetitive Nutrition Program
Our Competitive Nutrition Program educates athletes of all ages about the nutritional demands of their bodies during competition. To help the athlete optimally perform at their highest level, we perform a detailed assessment of the athletes current nutritional habits, food likes and dislikes. Together we build a customized and detailed plan to help the athlete learn to optimize their body for competition. We have three programs to choose from based on the individual’s needs. To make the program convenient, easy to follow and highly effective, we have an app in the App Store and Google Play.
